Preparation

  1. Marinate the Beef

    • Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
    • Add beef and mix well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
    • When ready to cook, heat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Once browned, about 2 to 3 minutes, set beef aside and let cool.
Besides beef, you can also use ground pork or chicken for this bibimbap recipe.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables

    • Sauté spinach in a pan just until cooked. Season with Knorr Rostip Chicken Seasoning Powder. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
    • Repeat procedure with each vegetable. Make sure to place vegetables in separate bowls.
  3. Make the Bibimbap Sauce

    • Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
    • Try using apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar.
  4. Assemble the Beef Bibimbap

    • Brush the inside of a hot stone bowl with sesame oil. Add rice to the center.
    • Arrange beef, vegetables, and cucumber on top of or around the rice.
    • Crack an egg into the center of the bowl.
    • Drizzle prepared bibimbap sauce over the dish. Alternatively, you can serve it on the side.
    • Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve beef bibimbap hot.
