Preparation

  1. Prepare the Korean Jeyuk Bokkeum Marinade

    • Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Marinate the Pork

    • Add pork to the jeyuk bokkeum marinade and toss to coat evenly.
    • Cover and refrigerate to marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
    • Tip: You can also use beef sirloin or chicken fillet strips in place of pork.
  3. Cook the Jeyuk Bokkeum

    • Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until they begin to soften.
    • Push vegetables to the side of the skillet.
    • Add marinated pork. Stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked through and slightly caramelized.
    • Add spring onions. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until tender.
    • Sprinkle sesame seeds over the jeyuk bokkeum. Serve hot.
